Here we are in another snow storm; this, to last three days.
A lot of people rely on us at these times.
We are fortunate to make new friends.
With the first storm came a hyper-vigilant, all-hands-on-deck, confident yet concerned deployment of our resources.
The Other Guys had shut down.
We believed we could make it […]
Business is brisk as we continue to break records in this, our 8th week out of the gate. I’m not talking about Ross’ old vinyls–Cream, Beatles, Zombies, Love, Animals, Who, Stones and such–no, that would be a gosh darn sin against humanity. What I am saying is, more and more, we are finding guests and […]
An exciting time to be here at Command Control! (Okay…it’s currently three guys and a boat load of computers) Vans are on the road.
The calls are coming in. We are juggling reservations and incoming calls. Meanwhile, the drywallers (<not a word) are finishing up the office space. Any volunteer painters out there?
The interesting thing for […]
Still a lot of work to do around here. The dry wall is hung and the mud is going on the walls, but we have yet to see the Inspector nosing about. Meanwhile, the dispatchers are training in the conference room. It is bustling with people and computers. Some of us were out at DIA […]
Up before the sun this morning.
Took the Smart car and photographer Lincoln Hauser to the outlook atop Davidson Mesa. It is one of the most beautiful views of Boulder Valley. The Flatirons tower over the city, and the foothills loom in the background. It was all magnificent in the morning light. We want the shot […]
A mere nine days until we begin transporting travelers to and from Denver International Airport. We are finally into single digits. Yikes. It has been stimulating as well as a great undertaking. Airport shuttles don’t grow themselves. Fortunately, Boulder is a great place to live, and fantastic recreational diversions are never far away.
No weekends around here!
The carpenter kicks up sawdust, while our drivers tour the latest vehicle in our fleet, a 14 passenger van. We had a Saturday spent reviewing company policy and discussing driver and dispatcher procedure. Oh, if only we had filmed it! 😉 Sincerely, we did have lots of laughs. Next week, we will […]
These are busy and exciting times around the offices of Boulder’s newest airport shuttle. The walls are framed, and the electricians are here making a fine racket. The construction has taken longer than we had hoped as we are due to open for business August 14TH, 2012. However, we remain positive and greet each new […]
